This course will give the participants a qualification to Level 3 of First Aid At Work, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Your certificate will be valid for 3 years.
This is a combined course where you will gain and demonstrate an understanding of Life Support, Paediatric First Aid, Bleeding, General First Aid, First Aid CPR Training, Choking, Anaphylaxis and the use of an AED (Defibrillator). This comprehensive First Aid course is seen as the Gold Standard of training for your staff when combined with annual refresher training. This can be tailored to focus on your main business risks and industry type. This is a minimum of 18 hours, spread over 3 days however we prefer to have the flexibility to spend longer as there is a lot of subject content to navigate.

This 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course course is Compliant with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, 1981 and the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015. Your certificate will be valid for 3 years
The aim of this course is to teach the basic life saving procedures in First Aid, including how to recognise and deal with emergencies.
Suitable for lower risk small firms and offices. who are not directly involved with any high risk activity predominantly non-retail office based environments who do not use heavy/sharp equipment (we can advise you on this). It can also be tailored to role specific industries such as drivers, forestry and equestrian personnel, Workshop and retail environments. This course can be done as a stand-alone or is ideal for use as an annual refresher training course.

This 4 hour course covers Level 2 Basic Life Support and Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) are now becoming more common throughout a range of public and workplaces.
A casualty’s survival rate will dramatically increase if an AED is available and if you have appropriately qualified personnel to use it.
This very practical course will enable you to use the AED competently and with confidence.
Not only does this course deal with the use of an AED, but it also includes vital training in basic life support including resuscitation and correct CPR technique. As indicated in HSE "PUWER" regulations all staff should receive adequate training on any equipment available to them in the workplace

This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders (will already hold a First Aid at Work Certificate), Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.
Through a variety of teaching scenarios by the end of the course the candidate will be able to:
Explain the benefits of oxygen therapy
Identify indications for the use of oxygen
Explain contraindications prohibiting use of oxygen and explain the dangers of using compressed gas
The candidate will also gain experience using Non re-breather masks and also Bag, valve and mask demonstrating correct ventilation techniques..
This qualification lasts for 3 years. To renew the qualification, learners will need to retake the full course. However, it is recommended that during the 3-year period, the learners attend annual refresher courses.
An Anaphylactic shock, or anaphylaxis, is a life-threatening, serious allergic reaction to an allergen such as food substances or insect stings. If it is not treated appropriately, it may cause death. This training is for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders to enable them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively.
The course covers the importance of being able to recognise and differentiate between minor allergic reactions and the potentially life-threatening anaphylactic reactions immediately.
This course is suitable for all First Aiders and healthcare professionals, as well as those in a high risk environment such as the giving of medication. This is also incredibly useful for ALL food processing premises such as factories and restaurants.
We will also teach the administration of Adrenaline Autoinjectors for adults and children (Regulation 238 Schedule 19).
